Dr. Gold aims to provide you and your family with a comprehensive evaluation that can help to address your concerns and provide tailored recommendations to guide education and treatment planning. Neuropsychological evaluations assess an individual’s general intellectual and cognitive abilities, such as language, visual-spatial skills, attention, executive functioning, memory, and motor skills, as well as performance in areas of academics, such as reading, writing, and math. Gathering information about a child’s emotional, behavioral, and social functioning is also an important part of the evaluation. Dr. Gold administers all aspects of the evaluation personally without the use of technicians. The aim of the evaluation is to provide a better understanding of a child’s strengths and challenges as well as specific recommendations to help a child achieve to their potential. At the end of the evaluation, a written report which clearly outlines findings and practical recommendations is prepared and sent to families in a timely manner.
Dr. Gold is an out-of-network provider and does not bill insurance directly. She will happily provide the necessary documentation that families can submit for insurance reimbursement. Please contact your insurance company for details regarding coverage and reimbursement.
